That is the question behind a new cultural partnership between Mood Media, Mood Magazine NYC, WHRL Mood Radio, and Black-owned bookstores across the country.

Through the WHRL Mood Radio Listening Partner Network, Black-owned bookstores will have the opportunity to bring music and storytelling together inside their spaces.
Imagine walking into a bookstore surrounded by shelves filled with history, poetry, novels, and wisdom—while the sounds of classical music, opera, jazz-inspired orchestral works, Black composers, and cultural conversations create the atmosphere.
Suddenly, buying a book becomes more than a transaction.
