Elevating Black & Asian entrepreneurship through inclusive, nutritious snacking
A Snack Rooted in Purpose
Tastelli was born from a shared frustration: no healthy, convenient snacks that didn’t taste artificial. Co-founders Jet, James, and JK met in graduate school and—after spending two years in Korea and facing racial health disparities—sought a snack that was nutritious, clean, and delicious. Out of countless recipe tests, Tastelli was created: a 10‑calorie, zero‑sugar, vegan jelly pouch made with konjac, collagen, and vitamins A, C, and E.
Intersectional Identity Meets Innovation
Tastelli stands at the intersection of identity and impact. The brand proudly identifies as both Black‑owned and Asian‑owned, a foundation its founders see as a strength. As Jet Cessant explains, this cross-cultural synergy is intentional—not only a brand feature, but a statement of resilience, fusion, and representation.
What Makes Tastelli Stand Out
- Better-for-you ingredients
With fiber-rich konjac and zero-calorie sweetness from erythritol, Tastelli is low impact on all fronts—vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, and fat-free. Each pouch is fortified with collagen and vitamins to support digestive health, skin glow, and satiety. - Convenience meets flavor
Designed for on-the-go living, these pouches are perfect for busy lifestyles—whether in transit, post-workout, or midday pick-me-up. Flavors like Mango Pineapple, Apple Green Grape, and Double Berry deliver satisfying taste in very few calories. - Community traction and recognition
Tastelli has built a following mainly through organic growth on TikTok and Instagram, earning nearly 40k followers and millions of views. The brand has also been featured by BuzzFeed, Blavity, and lifestyle outlets celebrating its wellness-forward Black and Asian entrepreneurial roots.

Where to Find Tastelli
Tastelli is available via its website and major retailers—including Amazon and select health stores. They also run an ambassador program in cities like Chicago where brand fans can earn rewards, share Tastelli content, and engage in community outreach.
Why We Feature Tastelli
At Mood, we believe wellness brands built by Black-led and intersectional founders are more than products—they are platforms of possibility. Tastelli is reimagining how clean snacks can be affordable, accessible, and culturally grounded. They prove flavor doesn’t have to come at the expense of health or identity.
