Take Harlem With You

What if the city you love could travel with you?

That is the idea behind the Mood App, the digital companion to Mood Magazine NYC and the growing Mood cultural ecosystem. Designed to help you discover Harlem, New York, Black culture, food, travel, arts, entertainment, attractions, and experiences, the Mood App turns discovery into something you can actually do.

This is not simply another magazine app. It is a way to see something, plan something, and then go experience it.

THE OFFICIAL TOURISM TOOL FOR HARLEM

The Mood App has been licensed by the Harlem Tourism Board as its exclusive promotional travel tool, making it an important part of Harlem’s tourism strategy and the Harlem Renaissance Rebirth campaign.

The partnership connects visitors with the places, businesses, cultural organizations, attractions, experiences, and stories that make Harlem one of the world’s most important cultural destinations.

For visitors, the app becomes a digital gateway into Harlem.

For businesses and cultural organizations, it creates another way to be discovered.

For residents, it offers a new way to explore the neighborhood they call home.

Harlem to the world. And the world to Harlem.

DISCOVER HARLEM

The Mood App puts Harlem and its cultural landscape in the palm of your hand.

From restaurants and attractions to arts, entertainment, community events, and cultural experiences, the app is designed to make discovering Black New York easier and more engaging.

Harlem is not a museum.

It is alive.

It is music coming through an open door. It is dinner that turns into a conversation. It is a gallery you did not know existed. It is a performance, a bookstore, a farmers market, a historic building, a neighborhood business, a new restaurant, or an afternoon that suddenly becomes a memory.

The Mood App helps you find it.

PLAN YOUR MOOD ADVENTURE

Sometimes you have three hours and want to know what to do.

Mood Adventures helps turn that question into an experience, with curated ideas for spending a few hours exploring, eating, discovering, listening, shopping, and experiencing the city.

Instead of endlessly searching for what to do next, open the app and start your adventure.

Because a great city should not simply be read about.

It should be experienced.

See it on the app. Go experience it in person.

MOOD MAP

The Mood Map is your guide to discovering Black New York.

It connects places, businesses, attractions, restaurants, cultural institutions, and experiences so that discovery can become a real itinerary.

Think of it as your cultural compass.

You might open the app looking for dinner and discover a neighborhood you’ve never explored. You might be looking for an attraction and find an event. You might be planning a weekend and discover an entirely new side of Harlem.

That is the beauty of discovery.

You never quite know where your Mood is going to take you.

MOOD ALERTS

The Mood App keeps discovery moving with Mood Alerts designed to bring experiences and opportunities directly to your attention.

New events. New experiences. New reasons to get out and explore.

Your Mood is always changing.

The app should change with it.

DISCOVER. ENTER. WIN.

The Mood App is also home to Mood’s growing attractions giveaway program, creating another reason to open the app, discover something new, and experience New York.

Mood is connecting with attractions and cultural experiences to bring promotional opportunities directly to users.

The idea is simple:

Discover an attraction. Enter for your chance to win. Then go experience the city.

It is another way technology can turn curiosity into participation.

A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE HARLEM

Tourism has changed.

People do not simply want a list of places anymore. They want an experience. They want to know where to go, what to see, what to eat, what to hear, and what makes a neighborhood special.

The Mood App was built around that idea.

It connects editorial storytelling with real-world exploration.

Read about it.

Find it.

Plan it.

Experience it.

Then tell somebody else about it.

That is how culture moves.

HARLEM RENAISSANCE REBIRTH

At the heart of the Mood App is something bigger than technology.

It is the Harlem Renaissance Rebirth.

Harlem has always been a place where culture is created, shared, debated, performed, tasted, worn, photographed, written, and lived.

The original Harlem Renaissance changed American culture and introduced Harlem’s artistic and intellectual influence to the world.

Today, a new generation is building on that legacy.

The Mood App helps connect that living culture with the people looking for it.

It is a digital bridge between discovery and participation.

Between visitor and neighborhood.

Between culture and tourism.

Between Harlem and the world.

FROM THE SCREEN TO THE STREET

There is something important about putting your phone down.

The purpose of the Mood App is not to keep you staring at a screen.

It is to get you out into the city.

Find the restaurant.

Visit the gallery.

Hear the orchestra.

See the opera.

Experience the choir.

Shop with a local business.

Attend the festival.

Walk the historic streets.

Meet the people.

Taste something new.

Stay awhile.

The best technology eventually gets you somewhere real.

TAKE THE MOOD WITH YOU

A magazine can tell you where to go.

The Mood App can help you get there.

It brings together the spirit of Mood Magazine, the energy of Harlem, the possibilities of cultural tourism, and the growing network of experiences that make New York unforgettable.

And with the Harlem Tourism Board licensing the Mood App as its exclusive promotional travel tool, Mood is helping create a direct connection between travelers and the Harlem experience.

This is not simply about downloading an app.

It is about discovering a destination.

It is about supporting culture.

It is about creating economic opportunity.

It is about making Harlem easier to discover while keeping Harlem’s culture at the center of the experience.

The city is waiting.

Download the Mood App. Take Harlem with you.

Open the Mood App

Download. Discover. Go.

Your city. Your culture. Your Mood.

Harlem to the world.
