Harlem Collective Invites Educators to Participate in Its 2026–2028 Education Outreach Series

From the heart of Harlem, the Harlem Collective is extending an open invitation to educators across New York City and beyond to connect students to the transformative power of the performing arts.

This year’s Education Outreach Series offers schools the opportunity to attend live performances by the Harlem Boys Choir, the Harlem Chamber Orchestra, and the Harlem Collective Opera Company—three of the most inspiring young ensembles in America. Each performance is tailored to meet educational standards and includes pre-show learning guides, behind-the-scenes artist Q&A sessions, and discounted group admission.

“Arts exposure is essential,” says Jarvus Ricardo Hester, founder and artistic director. “We’re helping students see themselves represented on stage, hear stories from their own communities, and understand that classical and cultural excellence are not mutually exclusive—they’re one and the same.”

Teachers, principals, and youth organization leaders are invited to register their groups for upcoming matinee performances and educational experiences.
